		<description>When printers such as Phoenix Press in New Haven, CT purchase a wind turbine because utility rates are too high, you know it&#039;s the end of &quot;business as usual&quot; for the providers of electricity.

There are great Federal rebates for renewable energy systems, and the energy is free! The cost of harnessing that energy costs something though ;)

A cord of wood also has air pockets in it; perhaps wood pellets made from the byproducts of woodworking, as well as compressed paper waste would be better use? 

I saw a wood-powered steam pickup truck in Vermont in 2007 as a part of the Solarfest Renewable Energy Festival (Solarfest.com). I don&#039;t think wood is the future; it&#039;s natural gas. Domestic fuel, already available for transportation, and it&#039;s being generated in landfills. Coal is dead!</description>
